New Zealand made and patented pair of Vibra-Stop backing pads to suit outboards from 115-300HP. Pads are 15mm thick.

 The backing pads can be purchased separately.

We recommend the complete Vibra-Stop Bush Kit. This is due to the fact that when you have a bolt contacting on the edge of the transom, it can transmit a lot of vibration - especially on acceleration and when the engine is loading and unloading in rough sea conditions.

When fitting just the backing pads, it is recommended that a key set be fitted to outboard engines 150HP and above on outboard engines with slots for the bottom mounting bolts.

When installing the kit or pads only  it is vital that you follow all instructions that will be supplied with the kit or pads , in particular note that the torque settings for the engine bolts are a minimum of 28ft/lb or 38nm or a maximum of 34ft/lb or 45nm, and after installation should be checked after the first 10 hours of use then all torque settings should be checked after  every 100 hours of use.

For Mercury Verado Engines 200-275hp the torque setting should be 38ft/lb or 50nm.
